The mouse trembled with fear and pleaded, âPlease, mighty lion, forgive me! I didnât mean to disturb you. If you let me go, I promise Iâll help you someday.â
The lion laughed loudly. âYou? A tiny mouse? Help me? Thatâs the funniest thing Iâve ever heard!â But after a moment, his anger softened. âYouâre too small to be worth my time,â he said, and let the mouse go.
Days passed, and one afternoon, the lion was caught in a hunterâs net. He roared and struggled, but the more he moved, the tighter the net became. Hearing the lionâs cries, the mouse rushed to the scene.
Without hesitation, the mouse began gnawing at the ropes with its sharp teeth. Bit by bit, the net gave way, and soon the lion was free.
The lion looked at the mouse with gratitude. âYou saved my life,â he said humbly. âI was wrong to doubt you.â
The mouse smiled and replied, âEven the smallest creature can help the mightiest.â
From that day on, the lion and the mouse became the best of friends, proving that kindness and courage know no size.
