Write a dialogue between Saabira and Sanjida about the uses and abuses of the internet.
Saabira: Hey Sanjida! Have you ever
thought about how much the internet has changed our lives?
Sanjida: Absolutely, Saabira. It’s hard
to imagine a day without it. From education communication, it’s everywhere.
Saabira: True. I appreciate how easily accessible information is now. You can learn almost anything online-languages, coding,
even cooking!
Sanjida: And let’s not forget online
banking and shopping. It saves so much time. Additionally, social media enables us to stay
connected with friends and family.
Saabira: That’s the bright side. But
don’t you think there are some serious downsides too?
Sanjida: Definitely. One major issue
is cyberbullying. People hide behind screens and say things they’d
never say in person.
Saabira: Yes, and addiction is
another problem. Some people spend hours scrolling through social media,
ignoring real-life responsibilities.
Sanjida: Not to mention privacy
concerns. Our data is constantly being tracked and sometimes misused.
Saabira: And misinformation spreads so
fast online. It’s hard to tell what’s true and what’s fake.
Sanjida: That’s why digital literacy is
so important. We need to teach people how to use the internet responsibly.
Saabira: Agreed. The internet is a
powerful tool, but it’s up to us to use it wisely.
Sanjida: Well said, Saabira. Balance is
the key—enjoy the benefits, but stay aware of the risks.
