Write a dialogue between two friends on illiteracy eradication
Rima: Hi Rupa! How are you
doing today?
Rupa: I'm fine, Rima. And
you?
Rima: Doing well too. But
you look worried. Is something bothering you?
Rupa: Not personally, but
I’ve been thinking a lot about the illiteracy problem in our country. It’s
really troubling.
Rima: I agree with you.
Illiteracy is one of our biggest challenges—it’s like a shadow blocking our
progress.
Rupa: Exactly! Without
education, people stay unaware, and our development goals fall short.
Rima: And women and girls
suffer the most. Many of them never get a chance to study.
Rupa: That’s true. But how
do you think we can solve this issue?
Rima: The government should
take strong steps—like making education free up to graduation and helping poor
students with money and materials.
Rupa: I support that. But
only the government can’t fix everything. We need everyone to help—teachers,
students, parents, and community leaders.
Rima: Yes, and they should
restart adult schools and motivate girls to stay in school at least until
primary level.
Rupa: Agreed. But raising
awareness is key. If parents understand the value of education, they’ll send
their children to school.
Rima: Right! We students
can also play a role. We can talk to guardians and inspire them to support
education.
Rupa: Absolutely. It’s our
social duty. If we all do our part, eradicating illiteracy won't be just a
dream.
Rima: Well said, Rupa.
Let’s stay hopeful and work together for a brighter future.
Rupa: Yes, Rima! Together,
we can make a difference.
